Flying Colors After School Care with an academic focus serves children ages 5-12. FC is committed to meeting the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of exceptional students through individualized and innovative educational programs. This includes the mastery of basic academic skills, critical thinking skills, social skills, vocational skills, and the development of independence, mutual respect, feelings of self-worth and confidence. Our belief is that growth is facilitated best through interaction between child, caregiver and staff.


We Do This By:

  • Utilizing qualified and caring professionals, support staff and volunteer trained to support exceptional children with their behavior and emotional challenges.
  • Providing stimulating, age-appropriate learning, recreation and enrichment activities each day.
  • Helping students complete some homework under the guidance of qualified volunteer mentors.
  • Employing behavior support that emphasizes respect and dignity while teaching consequences and healthy decision-making.

Limited transportation routes provided from Bellingham schools to the site.

Cost is $14.00/day plus a one time $50 registration fee may apply.
We are a licensed school-age childcare center;  DSHS childcare assistance benefits apply. Refer to provider #373094.
